Rev. Allison Hager Jackson

Rev. Allison Hager Jackson is a Chaplain Resident at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.  She was ordained by Wedgewood Baptist Church in May 2010, after pestering them into allowing her to intern with them in the summer of 2008.  She has an MDiv from Yale Divinity School and a BS in Chemistry in Biology from Wake Forest University.  She is married with two cats.  And she may be straight and white and middle class and able-bodied, but she recognizes that she just as easily could have been born any other way (or her life could have turned out differently) and thus, she and others must stand alongside those who are not.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, spin class, and sleeping.
